Yet, with Symbian in its latter days, the time has definitely come to plan ahead.

It's a wonderful system and it's no surprise that Handy Safe Pro is one of the biggest selling Symbian applications ever. Now, my Symbian smartphone continues to largely work as advertised, so Handy Safe Pro (with the PC syncing) still fulfills its duty - entries can be modified on phone or PC and the changes get merged together. * though which now qualifies as 'abandonware', as the developers (Epocware) have stated that the product isn't being developed any further. But I'll bet that most people have some need for such a solution, even if they haven't got round to implementing it yet. With this amount of information, you can see why I'm not keen to copy and paste individual fields and records into a new system, let alone re-type anything! Am I unusual in having this amount of 'secure' information? Quite possibly. Almost 1000 entries in all, amassed over a decade in Handy Safe Pro, an application which started on Symbian, syncs to Windows PCs, and which has made tentative steps onto other platforms*. So, yes, web sites are in the mix, but there's very much more than this.

I hope you see why this organization is close to my heart. The story so far, from the intro to my earlier piece: By allowing birth parents to give up children that they cannot care for without fear, that can happen. I know that was one of my big dreams when I was in the orphanage, is just a loving, caring family. I know that one of every child's dreams is just to have a family that cares for them, and loves them with all their hearts. With safe haven baby boxes that can happen. To have a chance at life, to explore the world and maybe they can even find something that they are compassionate about when they grow up. This organization is important to me, because I want these little babies that may be abused, neglected, or just left somewhere to die to be able to have a chance, to have a family that can love them, the way my family loves me. I don’t just believe that we are just saving babies' lives, but that I believe we are saving the world in a way, because we don’t know if that little person can make a big change in the world. I want Kentucky to be one of the states that have these boxes that can save more babies' lives. The states that have safe haven boxes include the states of Indiana, Ohio, Arkansas, Arizona, and just Recently Florida, but not in the state of Kentucky. Safe Haven Baby Boxes are temperature controlled, clean, monitored and safe boxes, usually attached to fire stations, police departments, or hospitals, where parents can hand over their babies anonymously.
